In cold conditions, keep Trangia burner in a warm location such as a shirt or coat pocket. This will reduce the time required to heat up the burner.

When cooking on snow, place the Clikstand on a small piece of aluminum foil to prevent assembly from sinking into the snow as it heats up. The foil will also reflect heat onto the cook pot.

Protect the Clikstand from strong winds for increased efficiency.

Clikstand parts may become discolored over time due to repeated heating and cooling or from storing in a wet location. The parts are made from high quality stainless steel and will not be adversely affected by these conditions. To remove discoloration, scrub with an abrasive kitchen pad.
