Clikstand

Welcome to Clikstand! The new collapsible pot-stand specifically designed for alcohol burners. The Clikstand combined with an alcohol burner offers an excellent alternative to pressurized gas stoves for backpacking, canoeing, camping or survival use. It is designed to work with the legendary Trangia^® burner, but also works great with solid fuel tablets such as Esbit^®, or any type of compact heat source including soda can burners.

Clikstand in Action

The Clikstand S-2 and Windscreen S-2 now have two size settings to accommodate a wider range of pot diameters than their S-1 predecessors (see picture at right). This means you can now use the windscreen with larger pots!

The Clikstand has been carefully designed to deliver adequate airflow to the burner chamber while at the same time protecting the flame from crosswinds that can severely reduce heating efficiency in alcohol and solid fuel stoves. It has proven to be a highly effective system when combined with alcohol burners or solid fuel tablets. Both of these heat sources are clean burning, silent, and have no moving parts to break or wear out. They are also non-explosive, safe to carry and can be easily extinguished with water.

Precision manufactured in the U.S.A. from thin gauge, tempered stainless steel, the Clikstand is extremely durable yet ultralight. Weighing only 3.2 ounces it will easily fit in a shirt pocket or small cook-pot when collapsed. However, the Clikstand does not sacrifice performance for it's light weight or compact size. It is easy to assemble and it's three-point design forms a very sturdy and stable platform for any size cook-pot. It offers excellent performance with alcohol burners or solid fuel tablets even in windy conditions (best wind performance obtained with optional windscreen.) When used with the Trangia burner the patented Clikstand design will outperform the Westwind stove under all conditions - hands down!

If you already own a Trangia stove set, the Clikstand is the ultimate accessory for your Trangia burner. It will provide the high performance you've come to expect from your Trangia set while leaving the large bulk and heavy weight behind. It is perfect when you want to take your Trangia backpacking, biking, canoeing, kayacking, etc. For those who prefer an alternative burner, there are many options available. In fact, an unmodified 3 oz. cat food can makes a very good alcohol burner when combined with the Clikstand and weighs only a quarter of an ounce! Solid fuel tablets are also an excellent choice. To use them simply flip your alcohol burner over and use it as a platform for the fuel tablets.
