Pot Size Required for Storage
Minimum pot size required to store Clikstand, windscreen, and burner (Trangia or Evernew alcohol burner) inside 5.2” (132mm) diameter, 2.8” (71mm) height.

Pot Compatibility
The Clikstand pot-stand minimum pot size is 4.2” (106 mm) diameter or larger. Maximum recommended pot size 8.0” (203 mm) diameter. For pots, cups or kettles smaller than 4.2” (106 mm) diameter the Clikstand pot-stand needs adjusting. See suggestions in the Small Pots & Cups section to the right on this page.

Compatibility Clikstand Backpacking Stove Products

Small Pots  & Cups

For pots, cups and kettles smaller than 4.2" (106 mm) diameter we have three suggestions.


1. Bend pot supports tabs inward enough to provide a stable base for your cup or small pot as shown below.This is best done using a vise, but can be done with a set of pliers as well (see picture below).

2. Using a piece heavy wire (coat hanger wire works well) form a triangular shaped piece that fits across the top of the Clikstand as shown below.

3. Using heavy wire, form three U-shaped pieces that hang across the top of the Clikstand as shown below. This gives the same result as suggestion #2, but is easier to fabricate (see picture below). 

Warning! When using cups/mugs with the suggestions listed below be aware that the handle(s) will be directly exposed to the burner flames and will become too hot to hold with your bare hands. A glove or pot grabber will be required.

These modification will not affect the performance of the Clikstand or it's ability to nest together.
